Onto the fun stuff, discussing e-juice. Since I started vaping I've had a curiosity about the difference between flavors and their respective vendors. One would think that vanilla would taste like vanilla no matter where you got it from. This, however, couldn't be farther from the truth. I have learned that the concentration of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin (PG/VG) impacts the flavor greatly as well as the level of nicotine and the flavor additives that go into the juice making process. I am now devoted to trying e-liquid (or "juice") from as many vendors as I get referred to from my peers. Here's how I stumbled upon fuzion...
I am very active on instagram for my iPhone and after I got my first electronic cigarette, I started posting photos of all my new flavors and other accessories I would purchase. After a while I started getting some notoriety and people started asking me questions about my set-up etc. I got a comment one day from someone who turned out to be the owner of fuzion, Shane (@search66 on instagram, look him up!) He said he'd have to hook me up with some samples to try. After a few days I got my package (#vapemail!!) and the rest is history.
He calls his followers "fuzionheads" which is a term of endearment for his disciples. I appreciate down to earth customer service and the personal touch. As for the website itself, very simple and easy to navigate, not 300 pages of randomness. The price point is great, especially for a first time vaper that has only seen sites sell 3ml bottles for $2.50+ where as fuzion has 6ml for only $3.25 Yes, the names are a bit eccentric but do not be put off, the flavors back up the peculiar names and exceed expectations. He also has a facebook fans page on which he picks a fan of the week, posts instagram photos with the hashtag #fuzionvapor and announces new flavors and deals. I would also like to mention the fact that he has started donating a portion of the monthly sales of a certain juice to various charities such as the Wounded Warrior Project and the American Lung Association. Aside from the extraordinary customer service and quirky names, the juice is really...REALLY good.
I own about 98% of the fuzion line and I have yet to hate any particular juice he makes. Combinations such as berries and white chocolate, banana and blueberries, and lemon lime and menthol to name a few of my favorites, all with unconventional names like Chuck Norris Blood, Purple Pieman and Hadouken. He also "infuses" his juice with a bunch of vitamin B12 for a little extra kick. I've never seen anyone else do this before and I'm glad someone has the balls out there to bend the rules of conventional vaping.
I am a firm believer that there is no perfect juice that everybody will enjoy, as with food, everyones palettes are different. Depending on your preferred mix, the e-cig setup you are using and your personal tastes, you may enjoy a juice differently than the next person but I digress. This blog will focus on the vendors as a whole rather than one specific juice at a time. If you would like to hear my opinion on any specific juices/mods/accessories from any of my reviews, I will gladly do a quick blog about them upon request.
On the whole, fuzion is my go-to for a great juice for a decent price that never disappoints!
